So, I'd like to think that it had and that I just didn't spot it.<BR/><BR/>I think the best obituary for Tony Wilson would be that bit on 'The Keith Barrett Show' from a few years ago when he and his partner Yvette appeared to discuss their non-marital bliss. In response to some inane question from Keith he gave a marvellous soliloquy about how he'd met (I think) the Dalai Lama and talked to him about all the money he'd lost pressing silly sleeves and sending the Happy Mondays to Barbados. 'Are you saying that to have wealth is of itself a sin?' he asked, to which the answer was of course yes. I can see your problem in trying to write about it: all you can do is to identify the bits you liked and the bits you didn't like. An all-encompassing conclusion is impossible.<BR/><BR/>I liked the stuff he wrote about Thora Hird.
